Uma estraordinária capacidade de antevisão dos arquitectos e pensadores de outros tempos

Just a heads up, neither of those images are of Corbusier’s Ville Radieuse. The large one is of a city designed by one of Corbusier’s many fellow modernists that he strongly critiqued (I believe this one is by Hilberseimer). The smaller one is of Ville Contemporaine, “a city for 3 million inhabitants,” that was designed in 1922. The Ville Radieuse was not designed until 1930.

On second look, the smaller is actually the adaptation of Ville Contemporaine to a new plan for the city of Paris, Plan Voisin.

Thanks for the corrections. I was only intending to illustrate the “style” associated with Corbu’s urbanist ideas.
