It seems to have regressed a bit, but I think that’s because before I took these photos I was sitting on my hand during breakfast, and it squeezed a lot of blood to my fingers.
Many’s the time that I have accidentally cut myself cooking or clipping flowers and had to spend hours getting the blood to stop flowing so that I can just bandage up the wound and forget it. Then the miracle of healing begins!
Each day, the cut is transformed as my body does its work knitting the sundered flesh back together. The day by day progression fascinates me, and I have sometimes thought what fun it would be to capture it all in pictures, and then maybe animate it. Well, here goes nothing!
I got this nasty cut from a can lid that I was throwing in the recycling bin. It didn’t hurt much: just bled a lot for a long time. Now, the process is underway!
